The Venice International Film Festival is the first film festival to take place live- and not just online- in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
In conjunction with the 77th Venice International Film Festival, the educational program ART CINEMA = ACTION + MANAGEMENT is being held for the 17th year. The aim of the training, which is led by a team of international experts in the arts and film industry, is to present a 360 degree view on how to manage an independent cinema as the cradle of a union of cultures and communication. In addition, in the context of the current pandemic, the program will also focus on the importance of cinemas and the efforts required to restart these businesses.
The director and organizer of cultural and film festivals and President of the Cultural Company CINE@ART, Petra Terzi is the only representative selected by Greece to participate in the program. Following her suggestion, her team chose the city of Agioi Theodoroi in the prefecture of Corinthia to be included in the proposal they are going to present at the end of this program.
